Join us for a talk with contemporary artist, photographer and filmmaker Hannah Collins.

Hannah Collins is a London-based artist with a studio in Barcelona. She studied at the Slade School of Art (1974-8) and became known for her large-scale, black-and-white photographs of evocative interiors and landscapes, and because of this work was nominated for the Turner Prize. The huge scale of her photographs demand a physical experience as well as a conceptual one, and the location of the viewer's body to the work also evokes relationship to geographic place—a sensibility extraordinarily evident in her latest work with multi-channel video and film sited in Russia, South Africa, and the Barcelona gypsy community.
