Steve Appleton
Is an artist that brings a human perspective to new media within the public art and museum arenas. Appleton’s public art installation FaceTime, commissioned by BlackRock for the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA), was selected for both the 2007 Art in America and Public Art Network (PAN) Year in Review. He has served as Associate Professor of Fine Art at Otis School of Design and Art Center Pasadena. He has exhibited throughout California and is the recipient of a Fullbright Award.
